A magical evening of Carols by Candlelight is being held in Bury St Edmunds to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
As well as traditional Christmas carols, readings and delicious winter treats, the charity has organised a line-up of local musicians who will all perform at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on Thursday 8th December 2016 at 7:00pm.
Highlights will include lively musical performances from the Suffolk Constabulary Male Voice Choir, Moreton Hall Preparatory School Choir and The Rock Choir and readings by special guests.
The concert will be ‘dementia-friendly’, with stewards on hand who have completed Dementia Friends information sessions and clear signs in the venue to help people find their way around.
Jenna Veneziani Community Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society in Norfolk and Suffolk said: “We’re in for a real treat this year in the historic and beautiful setting of St Edmundsbury Cathedral”.
