Form VI enjoyed a memorable Geography field trip to FSC Flatford Mill. On arrival they made their beds and then took part in some orienteering with maps and made their own exploring equipment. After a lovely supper they enjoyed a night walk exploring the use of different senses as well as playing games in the dark. The next day they set small mammal traps, hunted for invertebrates and microorganisms for a Steve Backshall inspired ‘Curious 60’. The afternoon was spent in the woods building dens. The last morning was spent making masks and headdressess for a Celt v Roman showdown on land surrounding the mill. The Celts won! Thank you to the amazing staff at FSC Flatford for making the trip such a success!
