It was a very successful morning with eight of our pupils continuing the tradition, fully encouraged by the school.

Music has always had an important role here at Moreton Hall, whether through the whole school singing together every morning in assembly, the choirs, orchestra or individual peripatetic lessons. Choral singing is an integral part of school life, we have both junior and senior choirs as well as a boys’ choir, who perform at mass, as well as informal and formal concerts throughout the year. In addition, the choir often performs away from school, recent visits this term have included a trip to a Choral Day at King’s Ely with Dominic Peckham conducting, a performance at the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds in aid of Barnardo’s and they were delighted to sing at a former Moreton Hall pupils’ wedding earlier in the Autumn.
