Religious Education

Religious Education is taught throughout the school at Moreton Hall.

Up to Year 5, pupils are taught by their classteacher to ensure as familiar an environment as possible to explore matters of faith within. From Year 6 the classes are taught by a subject specialist and pay close regard to the ISEB Catholic syllabus, instilling an understanding of the Bible and the church around the world, now and in the time of Jesus.

The children are encouraged to be curious about every aspect of this subject and to pursue its exploration actively rather than passively.

RE lessons are supported through assemblies, Mass and community activities. Children wishing to prepare for Holy Communion are guided by our Catechist and continue their journey towards Confirmation throughout their time at Moreton Hall.
