U8 hockey v Riddlesworth

We started off well and Caris scored our first goal.  Then we quickly scored another goal (Amelia),  and then the whistle blew for half time.  Mrs Bushell gave us an encouraging team talk and we were ready to go again for the second half. Amelia quickly scored again and we won the match 3-0.

U8 hockey v Culford

The game was mostly ours and we had 70% of the posession but they were a very talented team and sadly we lost 1-0.

U8 Tag rugby v Culford School

We had a convoy of 6 vehicles all with people in of course! We got under the trees to put our boots on as it was raining bucket loads. We proceeded to warm up to make sure we were ready to play at our best.

We created a Barbarians team made up of 3 PP2 players and 3 Barnadiston players and they played a separate match at the same time as our match against Culford. Ben scored 5 tries, Sami 3 tries and Josh 3 tries but sadly this wasn’t enough to win the Barbarians match.

We won the toss and decided to start.  The first half was filled with tries, I scored 3, Ollie scored 3, George T scored 2 and Ashely scored 1. The score at half time was 9-8 to us. Half time was non existent, we had to go straight in to the second half. At one point in the second half I was tagging some one and I accidently pulled off their whole entrie tag belt. The second half was also filled even more tries with me scoring 1 try, Ashley scoring 1 try, George T. scoring 4 and Ollie scoring an awesome 5 tries. We were all happy when the final whistle blew and it was time to get warm and have some match tea. Final score: MH 20 Culford 19. Man of the match goes to Ollie for great play throughout the match and special mention to Ashley for great runs and tries.

Thank you to Mr James for his usual top coaching and to Culford kitchen for their great food!

U13A v OBH and Framlingham Prep

Our first match was against Framlingham Prep.  We started in teh rain and not long after we started Ciara suffered a nasty fall and had concussion so Maria R. came up from teh Bs.  The score at half time was 6-3 to us.  We stepped up our game and so Grace and I managed to score 7 goals between us whilst, with excellent defending from Pippa and Linda, Framlingham only score one goal. The final score was 13-3 to us.

We then played OBH.  We had decided to play a short game because  it was becoming increasingly dark, cold and rainy. Despite this we played well and the score at half time was 6-4 to us. We wanted to increase this gap and pushed even harder in the second half, however, OBH also had the same idea. It remained close and the score at the end of the match was 11-8 to Moreton Hall.

Thank you to Framlingham for hosting and for match tea amd Mrs K for coaching and driving.  Girl of the game goes to Tilly for amazing attacking and special mention to Maria for stepping up to the As.

U13B netball v OBH and Framlingham Prep

We arrived at Framlingham facing tough weather conditions but we were determined to give it our all.  Our first match was against OBH.  We started off well with some good passes from Issy and Jess leading to Matilda scoring our first goal and then myself scoring two more. Matilda then quickly scored another before half time.  We had an encouraging team talk from Grace and started the second half with some more good passes. Then Matilda and I scored 3 more goals making the final score 7-0 to Moreton Hall.

Our second match was against Framlingham Prep. We knew that this would be a tough match. In the first half Framlingham scored 10 goals and we scored 3.  In the second half Framlingham went on to score another 17 goals but we struggled to score any.  The final score was 27-3 to Framlingham.

Girl of the game goes to the whole team for consistent determination.  Thank you to Mrs K for coaching and Framlingham for match tea.

Boys’ Hockey Club v Culford U12B

We got to Culford in the wet and had a ten minute warm up.  They pushed off first but Ed S. got in straight away and soon after I got the ball and scored.  Then I scored again and then Wilf scored to end the half.  We had a quick team talk then ran straight onto the pitch.  Ed S.  scored followed by me and then Wilf scored our last goal of the match. The final score was 6-0 to Moreton Hall.

Man of the match in attack goes to Ed S. and in defence to Harry.  Coach man of the match went to me.Thank you to Culford for the match and tea and Mrs Bushell for coaching.
